Authors Fees

All authors are free to submit manuscripts to Origo Medica Journal.

Article Processing Charges (APC) are applied only after a manuscript has successfully passed the peer-review and editorial acceptance process.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

  • Indonesian Authors (Local): IDR 1,000,000
  • International Authors: USD 100

The APC covers:

  • Editorial processing and manuscript management
  • Double-blind peer review administration
  • Professional copyediting and proofreading
  • Layout editing and typesetting
  • DOI registration and metadata indexing
  • Online publication and long-term archiving

Fee Waiver Policy

Origo Medica Journal may provide partial or full publication fee waivers for eligible authors under special circumstances.

Waiver requests may be considered for:

  • Authors without institutional funding support;
  • Authors from low-income or developing regions;
  • Outstanding manuscripts with significant scientific or clinical impact;
  • Research with substantial contribution to healthcare advancement and public health improvement.

All waiver applications must be formally requested during submission and will be evaluated by the Editorial Board.

Payment Policy

Payment instructions will only be provided after the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.

No payment is required during:

  • Initial submission
  • Peer review process
  • Revision stages

Authors are advised not to transfer any funds before receiving official payment instructions from the editorial office.

Refund Policy

Once payment has been made and editorial production has commenced, publication fees are generally non-refundable except in cases of editorial error or duplicate payment.

Publication Ethics and Financial Transparency

All publication fees are used solely to support journal operations, including editorial management, peer review administration, digital publishing infrastructure, and journal development.

Editorial decisions are made independently and are never influenced by an author’s ability or inability to pay publication fees.

Important Notice

Please be cautious of fraudulent payment requests.

Official payment instructions will only be communicated through authorized editorial correspondence from Origo Medica Journal.

Any suspicious payment requests should be immediately reported to the journal editorial office.
