Screening for Plagiarism Policy

Origo Medica Journal is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and publication ethics. All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism and similarity before entering the peer-review process.

The journal uses professional anti-plagiarism software, including Turnitin, to evaluate the originality and authenticity of submitted articles.

Authors are expected to ensure that:

  • The submitted manuscript is original;

  • All sources are properly cited and acknowledged;

  • The manuscript does not contain plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, or redundant publication;

  • Similarity arising from properly quoted and referenced materials remains within acceptable limits.

Manuscripts identified with significant plagiarism, unethical similarity, fabricated citations, or duplicate publication practices may be:

  • Rejected immediately;

  • Returned to authors for clarification or revision;

  • Retracted after publication if serious ethical violations are discovered.
